Position: Software Project Manager, Publishing

Location:
Herndon, VA

Summary of the Position:
Project Managers work directly with our in-house and offshore software development team, ensuring that projects are completed on time and according to project specifications. Candidate must also spearhead technical specification and design, development, deployment and close-out. The project manager must be able to lead projects, prepare project status reports and make recommendations to enhance revenue potential.

Experience Required:

• Knowledge of Software, Databases or Informational Data Structures  
• 3-5 Years Experience in an Office Environment
• Superb organization, customer service and time management skills are required
• Good documentation and writing skills
• Project Management skills/PMP certification is a plus
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word are required
• Bachelors Degree preferred
• Experience with International Business a plus

Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred

Other:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in Software, Databases or related technology, as well as a positive, pro-active dedication to getting the job done. Candidate will have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and has the ability to monitor project schedule and budget, through project life cycle. Also desired is a candidate that has the ability with lessons learned and cost/schedule analysis.
