What brought you to work at Apex?
When I came back to the states from Germany, I wanted to find a workplace with a great atmosphere. Apex had that atmosphere, friendly and busy-plus my commute to and from work would fit perfectly with where I was planning to live.

What are your favorite things about working at Apex?
I love the diversity of my job — working with all the different divisions of the company, assisting with accounts and investments. I also love the honor code system which allows me to have a flexible schedule. I like to come in early and leave early and Apex gives me that opportunity.

What kinds of projects and teams do you get to work on?
I have the distinct pleasure of working on a lot of different projects for all the divisions in Apex. I also get the opportunity to work closely with both the Founding Partners as I do a lot of the billing, corporate secretary and investment tracking functions for the company.

Tell us about your work area?
I have a window office, which allows the natural light to shine in everyday. I have a beautiful view of trees and can also take a peak at traffic on the road I take home every afternoon so I know if I should take a different route or not. Having the view and the natural light help making working inside pleasant and bearable!

What have been your experiences to learn and grow at Apex?
I have learned to use invoicing systems, more in depth detail into investments and accounts as well as learn about different cultures. Apex is a very diverse company and we have employees and guests from all walks of life. It is always fun to learn about other countries and cultures -- which is an added bonus to the every day job experience.
