Apex was selected by one of the nation’s top three wireline and wireless providers to convert decades of legacy paper telephone location records into a digitized data management system that encompasses map-based network depictions with superimposed client plants. The tools Apex developed to assist with this project include an Inventory Management System, Inventory Pole PRS, problem transmittal module, and a safeguard to ensure that staff members connect to the correct database. Apex completed the data conversion for each wire center and delivered it with an accuracy rating greater than 98%. We also created a training manual that is available to all new engineers undergoing training at the telecom’s facility.
