The Commercial Director is responsible for handling all commercial matters for the company, including purchase and sales contracts, corporate insurance, contract surety/bonding, leases, pricing of goods and services, etc.

The Commercial Director will possess excellent written and verbal communications skills and be an adept negotiator.
Job Responsibilities
Negotiating contract terms with customers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors;
Reviewing commercial requirements in RFPs, developing techniques for limiting exposure and managing risk;
Supporting proposal pricing and margin maintenance;
Drafting legal documents in clear and precise language;
Updating and maintaining standard legal templates;
Obtaining and maintaining suitable insurance coverage to manage risks and address client requirements;
Procuring contract surety (bonding) as needed and obtain necessary business licenses from government agencies.
Performance Criteria
Provide effective and prompt support to the operating business units in all commercial matters.
Required Education & Experience
A Bachelors or Masters degree in business management, accounting, or law. Experience in contracts preparation and negotiation in services, engineering or construction industry.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of five years working in a corporate office with relevant experience stated above.
