Engineering Positions

Position: Account Manager, Telecom

Reporting to:
Vice President, Engineering Solutions

Location:
Herndon, VA

Summary of the Position:
The mandate of the Sales Group is to ensure a steady, growing and profitable revenue stream consistent with the near-term and strategic goals of the company. The Account Manager will play a key role in managing accounts in our Engineering Solutions division under the Telecommunications, Utilities, GIS markets. Responsibilities include interacting with clients, internal staff and outside consultants, establishing positive relationships with target accounts, identifying sales opportunities in new markets and further penetrating existing client base opportunities Creating/delivering solutions proposals and sales presentations to customers designed to help them meet their objectives while increasing revenues for the company. Meeting or exceeding required sales and margin targets.

Experience Required:

  • 4-6 years of Business Sales or management experience in IT, GIS services or Engineering
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales/margin targets
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications, electric or gas utilities, GIS, IT markets
  • Experience working in a BPO environment, and/or experience internationally a plus
  • Highly motivated and organized individual with an upbeat personality and high energy level
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas in a clear, concise and articulate manner both written and verbally

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required in Business, Technology Management or related field.

Other Information:
The successful candidate will be a team player with extensive knowledge in the Telecommunications field, and bring his/her experience to the team in order to efficiently complete and deliver the project. Candidate will demonstrate strong negotiating ability and interpersonal skills. Also, show the ability to demonstrate a strategic, consultative sales approach.

Position: Project Manager DMT

Reporting to:
Director – Telecom Operations

Location:
Herndon, VA or TBD

Summary of the Position:
This position will play a critical role in helping to manage delivery for a large Fortune 100 client. The Project Manager will be in charge of creating and managing project specifications; interfacing with clients; tracking and reporting metrics and reports; as well as mentoring, supervising and managing a large group of software developers, engineers, technicians and managers. In order to accomplish this, he/she must have a deep understanding of Software Development, Project Management, Oracle, IBM ETL and UNIX and be able to stay current with industry trends.

Experience Required:

  • 6+ years experience in project management of Technology, Software Development, Database Management, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Database Development, Software Development, IBM ETL
  • Knowledge of budgeting and project management
  • PMP or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required.
  • Knowledge of Telecommunications and/or experience with international projects a major plus.  

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree or equivalent experience required in Computer Science, Technology Management or related field.

Other Information:
The candidate must have a strong background in successfully completing large customer projects in data management, engineering, or software development. Candidate must have Database conversion experience. He/she must have strong inter-personal and communications skills, be goal and quality focused and able to work with our current project team and aggressive deadline schedule already set in place.

Position: Sales Executive

Reporting to:     
Senior Vice President, Sales

Summary of the Position:
The mandate of the Sales Group is to ensure a steady, growing and profitable revenue stream consistent with the near-term and strategic goals of the company. The Sales Executive will play a significant role in our continued growth in the BPO Publishing market. In this client-focused position, the Sales Executive will have the primary responsibility for prospecting, and therein generating, selling, shaping and closing client opportunities. Core responsibilities will also include developing strategies to drive competitive and sustainable business, as well as ensuring client satisfaction at profitable client pricing. This seasoned sales executive will develop and deliver major account penetration strategies in their current target markets as well as develop and execute entry strategies for new industry verticals. We are interested in an outstanding executive who has the professional maturity to properly assess and determine lead qualification and pipeline management. Other responsibilities include interacting with clients, internal staff and outside consultants, establishing positive relationships with target accounts, identifying sales opportunities in new markets and further penetrating existing client base opportunities. Create/deliver solutions proposals and sales presentations to customers designed to help them meet their objectives while increasing revenues for the company. Meeting or exceeding required sales and margin targets.

Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of BPO Sales experience
  • Experience and a proven track record in KPO and/or publishing is a plus.
  • Highly motivated and organized individual with an upbeat personality and high energy level able to adapt to anything
  • Deal shape expertise, proven ability to develop value propositions, client opportunity pursuit, budgeting and financial control
  • “C” Level client interfacing skills
  • Proven ability to communicate ideas in a clear, concise and articulate manner both written and verbally
  • Ability to help clients succeed through a consultative approach and a complete understanding of the hurdles normally associated with outsourcing and/or off-shoring.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required in Business, Technology Management, Publishing or related field.

Other Information:
Additionally, this executive will be operational and metrics-oriented having familiarity with SLA’s and multi-year contracts within a multi-client environment. The ability to think broadly about process, technologies and differentiated value propositions is a must. This sales executive is someone who understands consultative selling to a smart and sophisticated customer base. The position requires an individual who thrives in a results and performance based culture while infusing the right level of process and prioritization that comes with a company scaling at a high growth pace.
