When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world. John Muir

The Apex Foundation is the private, nonprofit foundation of Apex CoVantage. Since 1992, the Apex Foundation has supported self-empowerment programs that assist and inspire people to achieve self-sufficiency. These programs are funded by grants to nongovernmental organizations that provide social assistance to people challenged by poverty, disability, or discrimination. The Foundation also supports relief agencies that serve people affected by emergencies and natural disasters. The Foundation evaluates and awards grants annually with a focus on smaller organizations led by individuals with deep, personal commitment to their projects. At least 90% of grant monies is expected to directly reach the beneficiaries.

The Foundation has contributed to the success of numerous organizations. Among the groups to receive aid are the Khmer Charity in Cambodia, Opportunities, Alternatives, and Resources and the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation in the U.S., Habitat for Humanity in Mexico, the Association of People with Disability, and Bapuji Children’s and Old Age Home in India.

By providing grant monies to organizations dedicated to empowering those in need, these groups can provide social assistance to children and adults in dire circumstances in order to help them achieve self-reliance for a better life. In this way, the Foundation is able to build skills and attitudes, so that people can lead satisfying, dignified lives and, in turn, contribute to the communities in which they live.
